Last March La Melodia played a great show at SXSW in Austin, Texas. They’ve stayed there for about a week to network and introduce themselves to people working in the music industry worldwide. Orville Yssel went with them to film all their adventures and made a mini-docu of all the footage. The background track is called “Come ‘n Get it” and will be on the “Electronic Love EP“.
Big up to Little-D Soundlab , Muziek Centrum Nederland, and the whole SXSW team for making this trip possible!
The Museum of History in Rotterdam is putting female Hiphop in the spotlight. An exposition, shows, demo’s and workshops will show the influence that females have on hiphop. Music, lifestyle, dance and fashion will be part of this.
Melodee participates in this project together with a bunch of cool hiphopchicks. The exposition will be shown from May 15th till July 10th 2010 in the Historisch Museum Rotterdam and on July 18th at the Street Sience Festival in the CBK.
